What we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you submit a cleaning request or apply as a cleaning provider. That includes your name, phone, email, the property address (or ZIP) where the cleaning is needed, the type of cleaning, and the date you want it done.

We also collect technical information your browser sends — IP address, user agent, referrer — for fraud prevention and rate limiting. We scramble this so it can't be traced back to you before storing.

Categories of information we collect

Using the categories California law defines, we collect: identifiers (name, phone, email, IP address); commercial information (the cleaning service you request); internet or network activity (browser type, referrer, pages viewed); and approximate geolocation (the ZIP or property address where the cleaning is needed). If you type a message in your request, we collect its contents. We do NOT collect government IDs, financial account numbers, biometric data, precise GPS location, or health data.

Where it comes from

Directly from you when you submit a cleaning request or a provider application; automatically from your device (IP address, browser) when you use the site; and, for provider verification only, from the references, licenses, or credentials you choose to give us.

How we use it

For cleaning service requests: we share your contact details with up to three matched local cleaning providers so they can reach out about your service request. The number of providers is capped — we never send a single request to ten cleaners.

For provider applications: we use your business information to verify identity, service area, and trust signals (insurance, license, references) before adding you as a buyer.

For everyone: we use technical signals (IP hash, user agent hash) to prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

Matched cleaning providers: when you submit a request, we give your contact details to up to three (3) verified local cleaning providers so they can reach you about it. The number is capped — a single request never goes to ten cleaners.

Service providers: vetted vendors that run the service for us under contract — hosting, SMS and email delivery, payment processing, and fraud prevention — and only for those purposes. They cannot use your information for their own ends.

Legal and safety: when the law requires it, or to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm. We do not share your contact details with any cleaning provider who has not passed our verification.

Sale and sharing of your information

We do NOT sell your personal information for money, and we never use the contact details from your cleaning request for advertising. If we turn on advertising or analytics cookies (for example Meta or Google), those tools may 'share' certain online identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms. Those cookies are OFF by default and never load until you accept non-essential cookies in our banner.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: to opt out of any sharing for advertising, decline non-essential cookies in our banner, turn on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — which we honor as a valid opt-out — or email privacy@cleanerflowleads.com. Opting out never changes the price or quality of anything we offer you.

Sensitive personal information

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or health data) to infer characteristics about you. There is nothing here to 'limit' under the CPRA's sensitive-information right — but you can still contact us with any concern.

How long we keep it

Cleaning service request data is retained for the period required by the laws of the state where the request was made (typically one to three years). Consent records are retained for seven years. Opt-out records are retained indefinitely. Provider application data is retained while you have an active account and for one year after deactivation.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state, you have the right to: know and access the personal information we hold about you; delete it; correct inaccuracies; opt out of any sale or sharing of it; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Submit a request at cleanerflowleads.com/privacy/data-request or email privacy@cleanerflowleads.com with the name and the phone or email you used, so we can confirm it is you. An authorized agent may act for you with your written permission. We respond within the time your state's law requires (typically 30 to 45 days) and never charge you. To opt out of SMS, reply STOP to any text — it takes effect immediately.
